Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
Membership of The Partnering Partnership is conditional on the acceptance of these terms and conditions. The use of The Partnering Partnership website is also subject to the following terms and conditions – by using our website, you agree to our terms and conditions. The Partnering Partnership reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions at any time, but we’ll always let you know about such changes – usually via our website.
As the network evolves, we’ll gain a better understanding of how members will benefit most from their membership. These terms and conditions will ensure we deliver a professional service to our members and attract members who are as committed to creating a supportive and professional community of members as we are.
Application for Membership
Any HR Business Partner, or Head of HR Business Partners, can apply to The Partnering Partnership for membership.
The Partnering Partnership is for HR Business Partners only. Although we reserve the right to make exceptions to this according to our judgement, exceptions will only be those we perceive can add obvious value to our membership, such as authors, thought leaders or academics in the field.
We will not invite anyone who intends to sell products and services to our members, nor will we allow any members to do so – we will cancel the membership, without refund, of any members who attempt this. For the avoidance of doubt this does not preclude members discussing the relevant merits of products and services which are relevant to HR Business Partners.
The Partnering Partnership reserves the right to deny, or cancel the membership of any member acting in a manner not conducive to the aims of The Partnering Partnership – without refund. Activities that can lead to membership cancellation include inappropriate and unprofessional behaviour or posting of inappropriate content online.
Benefits of Membership
Members pay an annual subscription fee in return for benefits. These benefits include access to our events; access to our website; and access to our regular ‘Challenge call’.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Membership fees are on our membership application website page and are subject to alteration without prior notification. All membership fees are payable in full with the application. If we can’t accept a membership application, the membership fee will be refunded within seven working days. Otherwise, all membership fees are non-refundable.
The membership period is one year from the date of acceptance of membership unless otherwise stated.
Six weeks before your membership renewal is due, we’ll let you know we’re going to take the next year’s subscription from you (if you’re paying by DD, Standing Order etc) or that we’re going to invoice you for another year’s membership.
We’ll need your membership fee by your renewal date for your membership to continue – or a month’s notice in writing please, if you’d like to cancel.
Our Events
Our events are strictly for members only (plus of course the speakers we’ve invited – it wouldn’t be quite the same without them). We reserve the right to change speakers at late notice due to unforeseen circumstances – or to cancel an event at last minute’s notice, in which case we will replace that event as soon as we’re able to do so. We reserve the right not to admit to an event a member who does not notify us that they are coming; or to require a member to leave an event. In the event that you may require disability access we request that you kindly inform us up to 24 hours ahead of an event, so that we can arrange for the same if not already provided by the venue.
Your Privacy and Data Protection
All personal data is only used by The Partnering Partnership for its own business purposes – for instance, notifying you of events, drawing your attention to new content on our website and connecting you with other network members who can help you in your role. We act in accordance with UK data protection law and will never pass on your details to third parties without your permission.
We may occasionally let you know about other events we’re running but only if they’re relevant, and never to the point that you want to scream.

Every care has been taken to ensure that all information on our website and in our materials is correct and true at the time of entry – but we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of any information.
